Beebs And Her Money Makers - Why You Should Give A Shit

Beebs and Her Money Makers is getting set to not only put out a new album and documentary, but to gear up and hit the road again for Warped Tour in 2014. If you know anything about the music industry, you already can see what a burden on the bands wallet this would be. Without having a major label to foot the bills for everything, the band is having to raise the money themselves. In walks the Indiegogo campaign. Indiegogo is used by bands to interact with fans and give them the ability to pre-order cool stuff while paying those hefty recording and touring fees at the same time. It's not begging, pleading, or asking for a hand out. It's asking fans to buy the album before it's made so that they can be part of the experience.

If you're already on board and ready to donate you can simply go here:  and be sure to share as well. Not convinced or don't even know who Beebs and Her Money Makers are? Well, keep reading. I'll tell you why you should give a shit and pre-order the new album:

1. You're tired of listening to the same bands over and over on top 40 radio. Admit it, you are. You can tune in two weeks from now and it will be the same songs in a different rotation with one new one added to the mix.

2. This song is ridiculously good:

3. Beebs and Her Money Makers aren't trying to re-invent the wheel. They are doing their own thing and creating their own space in a crowded marketplace, and it's refreshing.

4. This song is also ridiculously good: (Notice a theme here?)

5. By pre-ordering the album from the band you are actually making sure the band gets the money. When you buy albums from digital retailers such as Itunes, they make sure to take more than their share of the money. Giving to campaigns such as this takes away all the steps in between and puts the money where it belongs, into the hands of the artist.

6. They made this Miley Cyrus song a little less annoying:

7. They made the kazoo cool again, and they actually sell one as part of their merch.

8. This song........ wait for it...... is also ridiculously good:

9. You were going to spend that extra money on something stupid anyway. That first season dvd of Honey Boo Boo might seem like something you can't live without now, but let me save you a few brain cells and get you an amazing album instead.

10. I used ridiculously good three times in the same article. Isn't that reason enough?

In all seriousness, this band is set to take over the world with their amazing music and professional attitude and drive. Go drop a little cash and get yourself an awesome album:
