If you know anything about the music industry, you already can see what a burden on the bands wallet this would be. Without having a major label to foot the bills for everything, the band is having to raise the money themselves. In walks the Indiegogo campaign. Indiegogo is used by bands to interact with fans and give them the ability to pre-order cool stuff while paying those hefty recording and touring fees at the same time. It's not begging, pleading, or asking for a hand out. It's asking fans to buy the album before it's made so that they can be part of the experience.
