Digital DNA is the new full length release from California based band Neo Geo. The eleven track album has the band embracing the electronic / dance side of their personality a bit more and they seem more than comfortable in doing so. The album still showcases bits of other genres which keeps the track listing fresh for the duration.
As a fan of the single "DT Killer" from the previous album I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the bands shift in sound. After repeat listens for review I was however convinced that this is the bands best release to date. Standout songs include the opener "Are You With Me", the new single "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", and the amazingly addictive favorite "I'll Be Fine".
Neo Geo has found a style that works for them and has created an entertaining and engaging album well worthy of your time. I look forward to hearing the bands further evolution as they progress.
