Review - Emily Kopp - Serendipity Find Me

   Improvement is always a goal for any artist releasing new material. If there actually was an award for most improved on Beneath The Grid it would undoubtedly go to Emily Kopp this year. Some of the songwriting on Serendipity Find Me surpasses her debut EP by leaps and bounds. This is an amazing accomplishment considering the singer / songwriter is only twenty-three years of age.

Emily Kopp - When We Fight Music Video Releases

   Singer / Songwriter Emily Kopp has released the first video from her upcoming album Serendipity Find Me, which releases on October 15 this year."When We Fight" is one of the softer songs off the new full length album. Keeping the instrumentals simple yet effective and moving throughout, Kopp's vocals and lyrics take center stage. Kopp's soulful voice paints a picture that allows the listener to be drawn in by the very emotion of the song. When listening to a song based on heartache and sadness it's crucial to the listener that it's believable and authentic. This is where the song truly shines. You can feel every bit of emotion in the delivery. It's believable, authentic, and well performed, allowing people to connect directly with the song.

   As good as the song is, there are at least five tracks on the new cd that I feel are of even higher quality than this one. If you like this track, you should be in love when the new album hits.
