Review - Nevermind - Wide Eyed

Wide Eyed is the first offering from UK based electronic band Nevermind. The five track EP creates an overall atmosphere that draws you in from the moment you become engaged with it. Wide Eyed creates an aural landscape that not only feels cohesive enough to never detract you from the experience, but it varies enough from track to track to prevent the EP from becoming tedious and monotonous.

Highly recommended to those who wish to dim the lights, turn the volume up, and let the ambiance of the music take you on a journey. If I had to pick favorites i'd have to go with the second track: "Drinking Alone" for the sheer immersion, and the last track, "Heaven", for the overall mood conveyed by the song and its use of the keys to set the tone. Hopefully this isn't the last we hear from this collaboration of artists.
