Malaya Starts Kickstarter To Fund New Album

   Pop / Rock group Malaya from Tampa, Florida is making plans to record their next album. In order to meet their goals they are going to need a little help from their fans. You can pledge various amounts to their Kickstarter campaign and receive rewards based on your level of donation,. None of the money comes out of your account until the Kickstarter ends. If they don't raise the goal amount of $3,500 by July 12 at 8 pm, they get nothing.

Review - Paramore

    It's been a while since the release of Paramore's Brand New Eyes. Since that time the band has endured inner turmoil and the parting of two of its members in a much publicized and scrutinized break up. The remaining members Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, and Taylor York have continued on as a three piece band and finally have a new self-titled album to offer their fans.

   At seventeen songs the album seems pretty massive, although a few of the songs are interludes that are under a minute and thirty seconds long. These short songs all feature the ukulele and seem to be an outlet for some lyrical aggression. The song "Moving On" especially puts the jabs out there with lines like "Let em spill their guts cause one day they're gonna slip on em".
