Julie Gribble is a Country / Americana artist that has a sound reminiscent of classic Country and folk artists. Her style is a throwback to a time when Country music wasn't quite as poppy and as heavily produced. That's the biggest part of the charm with Crimson Sky. The music and lyrics feel authentic and genuine. The seven track release has several memorable tracks. The completely honest ex-hating song "Like You" will probably be a favorite of many listeners. There's a really great consistency that exists on this release. Nothing feels manufactured or forced.
